Shannon M. Fitzpatrick has represented individuals and businesses for more than 30 years. A formidable attorney both in and out of the courtroom, Ms. Fitzpatrick began her legal career in 1983.
Ms. Fitzpatrick grew up in Minnesota. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1980, then magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1983. After law school, she practiced in Seattle for several years, then Boston, Massachusetts for 18 years. In 2003, Attorney Fitzpatrick was named one of 10 Massachusetts Lawyers of the Year and was featured in the inaugural edition of Massachusetts Super Lawyers. She returned to Minnesota and opened her own family law practice in early 2006. After a decade in Minneapolis, Attorney Fitzpatrick has returned to Massachusetts to provide customized family law services in Framingham, Boston and Metrowest Boston.
Ms. Fitzpatrick's legal practice focuses exclusively on marital and family law matters. Throughout her legal career, she has counseled and advocated for hundreds of clients. Her knowledge of family law is enhanced by her extensive prior experience as a civil litigator.
Ms. Fitzpatrick is a passionate volunteer. She currently sits on the Framingham Planning Board, appointed by Framingham's first mayor. She has represented dozens of victims of domestic abuse in seeking restraining orders and has assisted many families in need with full representation in their family law needs. In 2013, Attorney Shannon Fitzpatrick was named as the Tubman Family Law Attorney of the Year. Attorney Fitzpatrick also served on the Board of Directors of The Family Partnership and Reuben Lindh Family Services.
Attorney Fitzpatrick lives in Framingham with her husband, two dogs and one cat. She is an avid gardener and photographer. She has two adult children.
